DISPLAYED LEAD TIMES

As a small design brand, we largely work to a pre-order model to ensure our footprint is as light as possible when it comes to our manufacturing, warehousing and shipping. Delivery lead times are communicated beneath each individual design. Delivery lead times displayed on each product page display the classification of each product; In Stock, Order Now or Made to Order. 

    • In Stock - Designs are in stock at our warehouse and available to be dispatched to delivery partners.

    • Pre-Order / Order Now - Designs are available on an incoming shipment arriving within the delivery window displayed on the products page. Not available to ship right away.

    • Made To Order - This design is made especially for you. Terms and conditions therefore do apply.

The lead times displayed online are dynamic and are updated daily. This means the delivery lead times are only allocated once your order is placed. As designs very often sell out prior to arriving into our Sydney warehouse, please do consider making your purchase as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Any delivery date or date range provided to you is an estimate only. We will use reasonable endeavours to meet the estimated delivery date, however products may be delivered within a reasonable period of that date. In these circumstances, and subject to our obligations under the law (including those described below), we will not be liable for any loss or damage, however it arises, if the products are delivered within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery date.

 

HOME DELIVERIES

Once your order is in stock in full at our Sydney warehouse, it will be dispatched to our delivery partners within 3-7 business days. For insurance reasons, we do not allow for warehouse collections. 

We use third party delivery partners who will contact you directly once your order arrives at their depot. Delivery times are dependent on each delivery partner, however please see an estimate below: 

  • 5-10 Business Days: NSW & VIC metro, ACT & QLD

  • 7-10 Business Days: NSW & VIC non-metro areas, SA, & WA metro

  • 7-12+ Business Days: SA & WA non-metro areas, TAS & NT 

A more accurate delivery estimate will be provided to you by our delivery partners once your order has arrived at their depot and is ready to be shipped. Please be mindful that you will be required to be present to accept the delivery, we do not accept authority to leave. Our deliveries are strictly Monday - Friday, and exclude public holidays.

You will be contacted via call or text from our delivery partners to arrange a drop off time. Delivery charges and estimated date of delivery will depend on where your order is being delivered. Products can only be delivered within Australia and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct delivery address and access details are provided to SARAH ELLISON. before dispatch.

 

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY INFORMATION

Here at SARAH ELLISON. we make our best efforts to get your order to you as soon as possible. If you require your order by a specific date, please contact us to confirm any large stock levels prior to purchase. 

Once a delivery is booked with the freight provider, the address cannot be amended. If you’re unable to accept a delivery on the date that you have confirmed, and you have not rescheduled the delivery with us, a failed delivery fee will apply. This fee must be paid before re-delivery can be booked.

 

DELIVERY OPTIONS

  • Sensitive Freight Delivery
    Delivery only service, to room of choice on ground level or via passenger lift to higher levels. Please note this does not include the assembly of products, dismantling of crated goods or packaging removal.
  • Premium Full-Service Delivery
    Our full-service white-glove delivery service includes two-person sensitive freight delivery, plus the assembly of products and packaging removal. Only available in limited areas.

Please take note of the following courier guidelines that apply to all of our deliveries:

  • Couriers will not collect or relocate the receiver’s household items to accommodate new products or unpack or remove any waste from the delivery residence.
  • The consignment will be delivered to the household room of choice on ground level or upstairs via passenger lift to higher levels. Access via a spiral staircase will not be undertaken.
  • The access to that room must be clear and without hazards or obstacles. This is the responsibility of the receiver.
  • Couriers will avoid using handling devices within the house/residence such as hand trolleys. However, they may be necessary in some instances.

 

WILL IT FIT?

It is your responsibility to check there is sufficient access to your property as well as ensuring the item will fit within doorways and lifts into your room of choice. A helpful “Will it Fit?” guide is available for download HERE, please use this resource before placing your order.

Boxed dimensions and weights are available online, these can be found under Dimensions on each product page. Within the Downloadable Content section are specification sheets which provide product illustrations and measurements. If you are concerned about your purchase fitting through doorways, or within lifts or stairwells, please reach out to our team with any additional measurements you have and they may be able to help guide you. We cannot be held accountable for ensuring the purchased items will fit within your residence upon delivery.

Should your item not fit at the time of delivery, it is at the discretion of SARAH ELLISON. to accept a failed delivery and additional charges will apply. There will be a 25% restocking fee applied to the order, together with a redelivery fee for the cost to return the item to our Sydney warehouse. If the item is taken out of the box in an attempt to fit it, it cannot be resold, and fewer remedies will be available to you, so please be mindful if you take this step to attempt to fit an item into your property.

 

STORAGE    

Please note, if you need to have your items stored by us please advise us of this prior to placing your order, so the appropriate notes can be applied to your invoice and your order does not ship early. We can store your purchase for a maximum length of 3 months. If there is no prior agreement for storage, we will dispatch the order once it has arrived in full at our warehouse. If your intention to have items stored is not mentioned upfront and the order is dispatched, no changes can be made and you will be required to accept the delivery. 

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY     

We do not offer international shipping at this stage. We cannot allow for warehouse collections, nor are we able to assist with freight forwarding overseas.

Please note, the purchaser of any products sent overseas from Australia will be liable for returning those goods to Australia in order to put through a future warranty claim.
